Congrats! What good parents you are (pat on back). We're still working on that one. Kinda hard with snow piled in the driveway. I'm jealous of your short sleeves!
These are a few guidelines I have giving myself and I'm trying very hard to stick to them - I feel they may be stereotypical and/or romantic notions of a 1950s houswife, but I think they work for me:
- Dress in a blouse and pants (NO t-shirts/shorts)
- Clean house and keep clean
- Manage laundry constantly
- Make beds and straighten in every free moment
- Make all meals at home each day
- Grocery on a budget of $300 for 2 weeks (sounds like a lot but we usually spend more because we are food snobs...)
- Always look and smell nice for Dear Husband
- Be friendly and polite ALWAYS (I've already had trouble with this one while driving!!!)
- Have all personal time and errands done by 3 pm and have all house chores finished by 5 pm
- Cocktail and special care for Dear Husband when he arrives home from work
- Have homemade baked goods available for snacks and general good feelings
